State the nature of the project, the initial objectives, and planned the starting and ending dates and the actual starting and ending dates of the project.     ■   Project Name

      Billiards training system

    ■    Description

    This is a set of auxiliary training system for the novice to learn the technology of billiards. It is based on Intel(R) IoT Services Orchestration Layer (IoT SOL) and Intel Edison Board. So it is a software system.

    ■    Initial objectives

      a. Detect the track of the billiards.

      b. Draw a trajectory curve to guide the billiards player.

       c. Use an android app as a client to control the whole system.

       d. Save users’ training data.

    ■   Dates

    Plan:  2016.5.17 – 2016.11.1

    Actual: 2016.6.1 – 2016.11.10

    ■   Resources

    a.Money

      about 5000 RMB

    b.Tools

      Sublime Text 2, Visual Studio 2015, Android Studio, etc

    c.materials

      a billiard table, a projector, a light bracket , and some adhesive tape,etc

     d.Labor

          The team consists of four students and a instructor

    ■   Outcome

    Compare to the initial objectives:

      a. Finished detecting the billiards’ coordinate when the billiards are static.

      b. This objective is fully accomplished.

      c. This objective is 75% accomplished, the user interface isn’t perfect.

      d. This objective is ignored, because we have no time to start it, some other objectives cost too much time.
