平时如果我们说“某某人对某某人有意思”，这个“意思”是什么意思我们都知道，同样在上面的对话中，罗斯也明白他父母所说的had a thing for you中的这个a thing指的是什么－－也就是我们所说的“意思”。 在生活中，我们除了会对某个人产生特别的“意思”之外，还会对某件事物心存疙瘩，比如有人不喜欢吃海鲜 “has a thing about seafood.” 有人对坐飞机感到十分害怕
“I have a thing about flying in airplanes; it scares me.”
又比如有人没事老喜欢弄自已的头发，这时你也可以说 “You have a thing about your hair.” 总之have a thing可以用来表达任何特别的感觉，如果是对人的话就用介词for (have a thing for sb), 对事物就用介词about (have a thing about sth.)。
