Nickelback简介
Nickelback最早成立于加拿大的小城Hanna，初的成员是Chad Kroeger（吉他手）， 他的兄弟Mike Kroeger（贝斯手），他们的表兄弟Brabdon（鼓手），以及他们的好朋友Rvan Peake（吉他手），1996年由Ravn VikedalBandon接任了鼓手。1996年，他们自食其力，兼职歌手，制作以及经纪人开始闯荡歌坛。2000年初，第二张专集 "The State" 正式发行．给当时几乎完全被国外摇滚乐侵占的加拿大摇滚乐坛带去了一丝本土化摇滚乐的清新。这使他们迅速窜红。他们追求的Dost-Grunge音乐风格成为歌迷的最爱，他们的独立传记销量也没有输给唱片产业。
2001年发行的 "Silver Side Up" 则是Nickelback事业的第一个颠峰，这张专集不但蝉联英国摇滚专集4周冠军，更是全美流行专集的亚军。
此后，主唱Chad Kroeger又先后为电影《蝎子王》《蜘蛛侠》《超胆侠》等创作了歌曲并参与制作原声带。2003年，Nickelback的第四张专集 "The Long Road" 正式发行。其中收录的 "Someday" 与他们最著名的 "How you remind me" 成绩不相上下，受到全球歌迷的追捧，也成了Nickelback具有里程碑意义的一首歌曲。
在沉寂了两年之后，加拿大最受欢迎的乐队之一Nickelback发行了乐队的第五张专辑 "All the Right Reasons"。而已经十分沉稳老练的Nickelback依靠此前两张专辑打下的江山，使得这张新作在发行的第一周就获得了31万7千张的高销量，以较大优势领先第二名轻松获得Billboard 200专辑榜的桂冠，同时也是近几周专辑榜的冠军专辑首次销量突破30万张。
