Recently ,I must write program for microcontrollers systems.In fact ,writes programs using Microsoft Visual C++ in win32 platform is my main work.But now,because lacks of persons who do some embeded development,so I was arrraged for writing embeded program.
Tell in truth ,my task is design a tiny DBMS in embeded system which is a challenge to me,but I
don't afraid of it .I think I can do it well by myself .First ,I must study some documents about the ARM cpu and flash memory .The flash memory's capacity is only 2M,but it is so bigger in embeded systems.It has some special character when writing and reading ,you must consider the rate of CPU and flash memory .
When modifying the data in the flash memory ,first need read one sector into memory,then modifys the data in memory ,then rewrites the one sector's data that has been read in memory buffer,so must consider the efficiency.Because erase one sector need many time ,For example ,the MBM29LV160TE need about 1.0 second,How to decrease the erase times is a very important problem,I must consider deeply.The other side,it is that I must increase the searching efficiency ,and decrease the erasing times.Oh,it is too tired!.When I write program in PC using VC++,all of the upon problem don't need considered,but now .......
When writing data to flash memory ,using the Toggle Bit or Data# Pooling technology to check whether write data successful.Ha,Ha.Do you know writing program in embeded systems
is very wonderful ,although it is sometimes tedious.I think I can ...Made in China.
