This quote has reminded me something I had experienced in job interview.
As a delegator of the employer, I have asked the interviewees some questions about what are they passionate about.
As a candidate for some position, I also have been asked the same questions.
What the employers want to know from the answers?
I think they may want to figure out our personal interests, personal values, and individualities.
And the answers, I mean, those honest ones, will show what we are pursuing in our live and whether we are the committed ones to things we are passionate about, because we all know true passions often have the abilities to produce marvellous achievements that are attractive to others.
In other words, if we think our achivements are unattractive, we'd better to examine whether we have put enough passions into our work.
I want to be a qualified coder, I want to produce some codes and programs that can satisfy the requirements fully.
Why not focus on them? Why not dedicate more to them?
Go as far as you can see, when you get there, you will be able to see further.

Don't feel inferior to others when you can't see as far as they can, if you can keep moving forward, some day, you can see as far as they can, probably even further.
In the actual fact, no man was born with far-sightedess, and all of us might be limited by where we are, but we can improve our vision and see further.
No matter what we are doing, if we want to be better, we should enjoy it more, make it more fulfilling, by simply doing this, we can build a better self and a better future.
