    GTM目前已经出了284本,大概每年还在新增2-4本的速度。我觉得GTM这么变态的书,一个月读完一本是极限了。假设每年GTM系列新增3本,全部读完整个GTM系列需要284除以(12-3)约等于32年,18岁开始读,读完50岁了,基本上已经到了数学教授不在一线做研究的年龄了。

    其实我觉得一个人选择一个数学分支领域能够cover to cover地读完10本GTM,还没有被劝退,还没有怀疑自己是不是合适学数学。这个人只要沉下心来做数学研究,一定大有可为,离数学家并不遥远。
