My hometown
In the northwest of China，A baby was born twenty years ago. That is beginning of my life. Good afternoon, everyone. It is really my honor to have this opportunity to introduce my hometown to you.
My hometown is XX which is a small county. There is a little river across my hometown. It has a population of six hundred thousand.
My hometown is a beautiful place. My hometown is special to me for 3 reasons.
Firstly, there are many scenic spots. for example, there is a XX mountain. The mountain keeps many invaluable cultural relics. The famous and valuable one is a tang dynasty Buddha that still remain in perfect condition. It is 23.3 meters high, 14 meters width.
On the other hand, you can enjoy different sceneries in different seasons. In springtime, everything comes to life. The rivers run happily. Summer is the hottest of all the seasons. Children go swimming in the river during the weekend. In autumn, it is time of harvest in the fields all the crops are ripe. Winter is the coldest season in a year, sometime it snows, you can enjoy yourselves in skating, play snow fight, make snow man etc.
The most important, there is a lot of my childhood memory. When I got hungry, I ate; when I got tied, I slept; when I had to go, I went. That is my precious time. I remember that I climbed mountain with my brother. I still remember that I fought with my old friend desperately just for a toy.
This is my hometown. I love my hometown, and I love its people. They are working hard to make it still richer and more beautiful. In conclusion, welcome everyone to visit my hometown.
