1 数据库设置
打开 mysite/settings.py
进行设置,这是一个普通的python模块作为设置文件。默认的数据库设置为SQLite,日常测试或开发可以使用它,但是要用于生产的话,你需要更加强劲的数据库。
如果要使用其他数据库,修改DATABASES 'default'
下面的参数:
- ENGINE – Either 'django.db.backends.sqlite3', 'django.db.backends.postgresql','django.db.backends.mysql', or 'django.db.backends.oracle'. Other backends are also available.
- NAME – The name of your database. If you’re using SQLite, the database will be a file on your computer; in that case, NAME should be the full absolute path, including filename, of that file. The default value,os.path.join(BASE_DIR, 'db.sqlite3'), will store the file in your project directory.
如果不是使用SQLite还需要增加 USER, PASSWORD, and HOST这些参数,并且需要创建好数据库实例,但是我们这里就用sqlite,不需要对settings进行任何的修改就行使用。
另外,设置好set TIME_ZONE to your time zone.
By default, INSTALLED_APPS 包含下面几个APP,都是django自带的:
- django.contrib.admin – The admin site. You’ll use it shortly.
- django.contrib.auth – An authentication system.
- django.contrib.contenttypes – A framework for content types.
- django.contrib.sessions – A session framework.
- django.contrib.messages – A messaging framework.
- django.contrib.staticfiles – A framework for managing static files.
在使用这个默认的app之前,我们需要执行:
$ python manage.py migrate
migrate会根据app在数据库中创建相应的表结构,并且只对INSTALLED_APPS下面的app创建表结构。
2 创建models
本质上就是创建数据库的结构,model是一个单独的,权威的数据源,它包含你所存储数据必要的类型和动作,django遵循DRY Principle,目的是让所有数据都来自一个地方。
不同于Ruby On Rails ,django能够滚动更新数据库到最新的models。
在我们的polls例子中,创建两个models:Question and Choice.

Django supports all the common database relationships: many-to-one, many-to-many, and one-to-one.
3 Activating models
简单的几行models代码做了很多事情:
- 创建了一个database schema (CREATE TABLE statements)
- Create a Python database-access API for accessing Question and Choice objects.
但是首先要将polls这个app installed:
编辑mysite/settings.py
文件在INSTALLED_APPS
下增加polls.apps.PollsConfig
,如下所示:

可以看到类似下面的信息:

makemigrations
告诉django在models中出现了哪些变化,这些变化将使用migrate
保存到数据库中。
这些变化存放在polls/migrations/0001_initial.py.
文件中。
在运行migrate之前,可以通过一个命令来查看将在数据库中执行哪些sql语句:
$ python manage.py sqlmigrate polls 0001
得到类似SQL语句:(这里是PostgreSQL的例子)

django的migration十分的强大,不需要删除database或tables,就能直接修改至models所需要的,使用django的migration,只需要三步:
- 修改 models (in models.py).
- 运行
python manage.py makemigrations

应用变化到数据库
分开创建和接受migrations的原因是便于版本控制系统,也方便其他开发者阅读。
4 Playing with the API
django有一个单独的shell,直接用python的话存在一些问题, manage.py文件设置了从 mysite/settings.py中导入的DJANGO_SETTINGS_MODULE的环境变量。
$ python manage.py shell
那么有没有办法绕过manage.py呢,有。

5 django admin简介
django admin的理念是用于后台管理员使用的,而非普通用户使用。django admin完全自动的为models生成管理接口。
django产生于新闻编辑室的环境下,非常清晰的分开内容发布和公开的位置,管理员们轻松的增加新闻,内容,故事等,然后这些内容在相应的地方公开显示,django解决了一个管理员们创建统一的编辑内容的接口。
创建一个admin user

启动开发服务器,查看登陆admin界面
admin显示语言可以在setting中设置。
进入管理界面
刚开始只能管理admin中默认的Groups和Users两个类,他们是由django.contrib.auth这个app提供的。
使得polls在admin中可修改
我们要告诉admin,Question对象有admin接口,即在polls/admin.py 下增加几行:

可以对Questions进行增加记录,修改记录,删除记录,查询记录等操作,还可以查看历史。
