首先，服务器和客户机都需要安装mysql。
然后，在服务器端，启动Mysql之后，进行权限设置：
mysql> GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON *.* TO 'myuser'@'%' IDENTIFIED BY 'mypassword' WITH GRANT OPTION;
Query OK, 0 rows affected (0.01 sec)
mysql> FLUSH PRIVILEGES;
Query OK, 0 rows affected (0.00 sec)
mysql>
接着，在客户端，执行访问：
[root@server ~]# mysql -umyuser -h 16.157.245.116 -pmypassword

Welcome to the MySQL monitor. Commands end with ; or g.
Your MySQL connection id is 7
Server version: 5.6.13 MySQL Community Server (GPL)
