GUT

实际经验：

• 15号投，27号直接受到拒稿邮件，12天即确定，还是挺快的
• 现在COVID-19占了太多版面，GUT也更喜欢临床的，纯生信分析已经不吃香了
• 改投Gastroenterology，希望能收吧，安稳着陆

参考文献格式：

• Issue：一期,期号；volume：卷,合订本（同一杂志的一系列期刊,尤指一年的，GUT不要求显示issue
• Journals from BMJ use a slightly modified version of Vancouver referencing style (see example below) available in Endnote. Note that The BMJ uses a different style.
• Journal article: 13 Koziol-Mclain J, Brand D, Morgan D, et al. Measuring injury risk factors: question reliability in a statewide sample. Inj Prev 2000;6:148–50.
• 模板：Author. Title|. Journal| Year|;Volume|:Pages|.

ENDNOTE微调

1. 正文里的number上标，citation - templates里改，mac版在edit菜单栏选择font，上标格式转换
2. layout更改起始的文献标号，hanging indent改为all paragraphs
3. author lists里更改最多显示多少个作者，超过4个（包含）需要用et al斜体
4. journal name里选择是全称，还是简写
5. 有时会出现volume、issue或pages的缺失，直接进pubmed里即可查到，然后去ENDNOTE里修改更新即可

Vol. 是Volume的缩写，对应中文的意思是“卷“。
在论文参考文献中，NO.或者Iss是Issue的缩写，对应中文的意思是“期”。
而在论文参考文献中，P. 是Page的缩写，对应中文的意思是”页”。
期的形式还可以表示成“No.”
页的形式还可以表示成“PP.”
卷的意思是指本期刊自创刊以来已经多少年了，17卷即表示今年是创刊以来的第17年。
期的意思是指本册期刊是该期刊本年度的第几册，1期即表示本册期刊是该期刊的第1册。
需要注意的是全年连续编页码的刊物可省去（期）。

Original research
Original research should be research articles reporting original data (eg, controlled trials and intervention studies).

Following the lead of The BMJ and its patient partnership strategy, Gut is encouraging active patient involvement in setting the research agenda. As such, we require authors of Research Articles to add a Patient and Public Involvement statement in the Methods section.

Word count: up to 4,000
Structured abstract: up to 250 words: ‘Objective’, ‘Design’, ‘Results’, ‘Conclusion’
Tables/ Illustrations: Figures are not limited, but must be thoroughly justified.
References: limited to those critical and relevant to the manuscript (around 50)

Authors should also complete a short summary ‘box’ after the abstract indicating the significance of this study using the below headings:

What is already known about this subject?
What are the new findings?
How might it impact on clinical practice in the foreseeable future?
