not only...but also的用法
这是一组非常常用的英语并列短语，相当于中文的"不仅...而且",在使用的时候必须注意,它所连接的词的"词性"必须对等。
1:Not only you but also he has to attend the ceremony不仅是你而且是他都必须参加这个典礼。(连接主语)
2:She not only teaches me English but also takes good care of my life。她不仅教我英语还照顾我的日常生活。(连接谓语)
3:She is not competent but also beautiful。她不仅能干而且漂亮(连接表语)
4:He likes playing not only basketball but also table tennis。他不仅喜欢打篮球，而且还喜欢打乒乓球(连接宾语)
5:They completed this project not only punctually but also perfectly。他们不仅准时完成这项计划，而且完成的很出色(连接副词做状语)
6:He goes to work not only on weekdays but also on weekends。他不仅工作日上班周末也上班。(连接时间状语)
记住，连接的词性一定要对等。后面的but also也可以只用一个，也就是上面所有句子都可以not only...but...或者not only...also。例如:Our products are well-known not only in China,but /also all over the world。我们的产品不仅在中国闻名，在全世界都很有知名度
7:后面的谓语动词就近原则:Not only we but also our boss has to attend this meeting。不仅是我们，我们老板也必须参加这个会议
Not only our boss but also we have to attend this meeting。不仅是我们老板，我们也必须参加这个会议。
8:not only 位于句首的时候，主语谓语要倒装
Not only does he speak English correctly but also he speaks it fluently。他不仅英语说得正确，而且很流利
9:not only...but also不能用于否定句，例如:
He doesn't fear not only hardship but also tiredness他既不怕苦也不怕。(错)
He fears neither hardship nor tiredness。(正确)
He doesn't fear either hardship or tirednees(正确)
