worth,worthy,worthwhile的区别(一)

1:worth,作形容词，意思是，值多少钱，相当于...的价值，后面常接表示钱数的名词或相当于"代价"的比喻性名词，比如
a:The watch is worth five hundred yuan at most。这块表最多只值500元。
b:It's worth the time and effort we devote  to it.这件事情值得我们付出时间和精力。

2:当它表示是"值得做"的时候,后面跟名词和动名词，不接不定式和被动语态，用主动形式表示被动。比如
a:I think this problem is worth discussing again.
我认为这个问题值得再次讨论。
不可以接被动语态和不定式
I think this problem is worth being discussed again.(错)
I think this problem is worth to discuss again.(错)
b:后面直接跟名词
This city is worth a visit.(visit这里用作名词，参观,游览)
The city is worth visiting.

3:worth 后面只能接及物动词，如果不是及物动词就一定要用相当于及物动词的词组。
a:His speech is worth listening to.(对)
b:His speech is worth listening.(错)
c:His plan is not worth thinking about.(对)
d:His plan is not worth thinking.(错)
注意:worth 是形容词,前面一定不能少了is。
