注:Great to see you 还可以说成 It's great to see you.

这里，so是用来加强Good的语气。但如果说Very good to see you, 语气就太重，有做作的味道。

有什么事发生？怎么了？一切都好吗？
中国人一见面就喜欢用”吃饱了没有”, “吃过饭没有”来打招呼,这只是打招呼用语, 不一定是真想知道你吃过了没有。而美国人一向担心发生事情，见了面会说:what's going on?,其实不一定是真的在问有什么事发生，只是在打招呼。
