Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? In order to attract good students, a university should spend more money funding social activities.
Without any social activities, students would not have made different types of friends; without any social experience, students would not have understood that how to deal with the relationship with other people; without any social activities, students would have fallen into the pitfall of the society in their career. Therefore, the importance of the social activities cannot be underestimated. As far as I am concerned, a university should absolutely spend more money funding social activities so far as attract good students. Among countless factors which contribute to my position are the following conspicuous ones.
From the outset, an increasing number of students have already considered that the significance of the friend, and the most successful method to make friends is to participate the social activities. It can be aptly demonstrated by the experience of my brother. My brother have studied in China for almost 15 years. When he was a little kid, he always wanted to talk with the other people about many different aspects like the history, science, and politic, to name just a few. He told me that you can meet plenty of people who have the same interest by communicate. He also loved to participate some social activities like internship as the reporter. Last year, he chose his dream school call the Peking University which have myriad different types of social activities. He said that he can learn comprehensive knowledge through his friends, and the university offers plenty of opportunities for him to get in touch with his friends. Had the Peking university had no those kinds of activities, my brother absolutely would not have chosen this school on the ground that he cannot harvest numerous friends.
Further lending credence to my position is that the social experience can help the students prevent the hoax. Students can accumulate many experiences by joining the social activities which can help them become successful………… For instance, the famous dealer named Yu Min Hong is the founder of the Xin Dong Fang which is the most famous company in China. He also chose the Peking university on the ground that this university have innumerous social activities, such as working in the ZhongGuan Cun, establishing the interrelated group of people to do survey, even setting up a small company. He was the leader of the group of people, and he also learned many skills from his companions. When he worked in ZhongGuan Cun, he understood how to maximum the profit and how to distinguish the truth and lie. It is those valuable experience and social activities that help him to become the successful dealer.
Admittedly, It is obvious that the university should concentrate on the knowledge rather than the social activities. It is true that the top university such like the Yale university, New York university, and Cambridge university have the extremely positive facilities to help the students to accept much more knowledge. Notwithstanding, the knowledge pales importance in the skills which students can learn from the social activist. I believe that students have already put the spotlight on those skills and activities rather than the knowledge. Therefore, university must spend a lot of money on the social activities.

In brief, Contrary to many people’s opinion is my heartfelt objection to the assertion that university should focus on the facilities. Under no circumstance should we ignore the importance of social activities.
