稳定版（stable）
稳定版包含了 Debian 官方最近一次发行的软件包。
作为 Debian 的正式发行版本，它是我们优先推荐给用户您选用的版本。
当前 Debian 的稳定版版本号是 10，开发代号为 buster。最初版本为 10，于 2019年07月06日 发布，其更新 10.6 已于 2020年09月26日 发布。
测试版（testing）
测试版包含了那些暂时未被收录进入稳定版的软件包，但它们已经进入了候选队列。使用这个版本的最大益处在于它拥有更多版本较新的软件。
当前的测试版版本代号是 bullseye。
不稳定版（unstable）
不稳定版存放了 Debian 现行的开发工作。通常，只有开发者和那些喜欢过惊险刺激生活的人选用该版本。推荐使用不稳定版的用户订阅 debian-devel-announce 邮件列表，以接收关于重大变更的通知，比如有可能导致问题的升级。
不稳定版的版本代号永远都被称为 sid。有说sid是still in development的缩写等说法

稳定版相当于Windows的半年更新频道，但保守程度实际上介于半年频道和长期服务频道。建议在服务器或者稳定性要求很高的场合使用。一部分稳定版是长期支持（LTS）版本，相当于Windows的长期服务频道（LTSC），这些版本具有“三年的完整支持以及额外两年的长期支持”。

来看下其中的说明debian-cd-1.iso 、debian-cd-2.iso等说明 基本上debian-cd-1.iso这样的文件时可启动的，主要作用是为了安装操作系统，debian-cd-2.iso、debian-cd-3.iso等通常是不可启动的，主要是为了安装额外的软件，一般不需要下载，如果需要安装额外软件，一般直接通过网络方式下载，而非从debian-cd-2.iso文件中安装额外软件，说明如下：

实际来看digdo是碎片化的下载，不如iso单文件下载来的快，只有在不得已的情况（比如下载archive历史iso文件时才会使用这种方式）
