    The points I learned:

    1. Doing something fun although that was not what you are supposed to be doing.

    2. Just do it. It was not the prize itself that mattered. It was the recognition. It was that someone had noticed and said thanks. That was what I wanted.

    3. Innovation can only (?) come from the bottom. Those closest to the problem are in the best position to solve it. I believe any organization that depends on innovation must embrace chaos. Loyalty and obedience are not your tools; you must use measurement and objective debate to separate the good from the bad.

    4. Creativity must flow from everywhere. Whether you are a summer intern or the CTO, any good idea must be able to seek an objective test, preferably s test that exposes the idea to real customers.

    5. While reading these posts I am shocked that Amazon was working on recommendation systems, machine learning algorithms, distributed computing and etc. back to that early times. Looking at myself, I am still on the learning path of those funny things. Keep going man..
