路人甲 

“路人甲”的第一个意思是“路过的行人”，英语可以译为passer-by.例如： 

1. 这个年轻人在这部电影中扮演了一个路人。

This young man played the role of a passer-by in the film.

"路人"的第二个意思是比喻“毫不相干的人”英语可以译为stranger. 例如： 

2. 这兄弟俩相互视若路人。

The two brothers treated each other like strangers.

“路人甲” 指电视剧或电影中扮演没有台词或仅有一两句简单台词的群众演员，英语也可以译为"walking gentleman"(男士)，“walking lady”(女士)。

例如：

3. 这名青年演员不愿意总是充当无名的路人甲。他梦想有朝一日在戏中成为主角。

The young actor was reluclant to be always playing the role of an anonymous walking gentleman.

He dreamed of becoming the main performer in a play some day.

但是英语中“walking gentlemen” 含有“具有绅士外表和风度”的内涵。例如： 

4. “路人甲” 不是一个正在走路的绅士，而是一个通常充当次要角色的演员，需要的绅士的外表但几乎没有什么台词。

A walking gentlemen is not a gentleman who is walking, but an actor who usually fills subordinate parts which require a gentlemanly appearance  but few words.

“群众演员”英语可以译为walk-on. 例如：

5. 群众演员是在戏剧的制作中的次要角色，通常没有什么台词。

A walk-on is a minor role in a theatrical producation, usually without speaking lines.

6. 当一名群众演员可能不会得到观众的掌声和鲜花，但是它是通往闪亮成功的必不可少的过程。 

Being a walk-on may not win the applause and flowers from the audience but that is an inevitable course leading to scintillating success.

"群众演员"，还可以译为extra 或figurant. 例如： 

7. 实际上，很多著名的演员都是从当群众演员开始的。

As a matter of fact, many famous actors started out as extras. 

8. 在多年艰苦努力之后，他由一名演名变为国际超级巨星。

After many years of hard work, he changed from a figurant to an international superstar.
