I had the same issue and used the diagtool to find more information. The traces showed this error messages:
>System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Microsoft Dynamics CRM has experienced an error. Reference number for administrators or support: #1ED30BD9: System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path 'c:Program FilesMicrosoft Dynamics CRMCustomizationImport90adf9d4966a44598e0a5499aa021c2c' is denied.
So I modified the permissions to the folder and now it works.
