1. make/put a dent

make/put a dent 英文释义为to decrease something slightly or to make something somewhat weaker，即“使……(少量)减少或减弱”。

2. couple (of)

这个在口语中常能听到，意思与我们学过的few基本一致，表示“一些；几个”。

4. amount to
