As we are aware, SRM 7 offers background processing for large line documents (e.g. > 200 line PO, RFx, Contract etc) .
For SOCO, it is based on qRFC and other processes (e.g. ORDER PO) are JOB based

This note enables the customers to use a background job instead of qRFC.
SPRO—>Cross-application basic settings—>Define Threshold value for background processing
When the purchaser chooses Process Selected Drafts or Process All Drafts in the sourcing cockpit, background processing is initiated if the number of shopping cart items in the selected drafts exceeds the threshold value that you define in this IMG activity.
Note:
- If the purchaser changes the document after starting background processing, the system cancels the background job.
- Upon completion of the background job, the system e-mails the results to the purchaser who initiated background processing.
