关于车牌识别分析的信息检索
摘要:国内近几年城市智能交通系统发展的很快,车牌识别系统作为城市智能交通系统中信息采集的一种手段,也得到了很快的发展。车牌的识别在智能交通系统中有着十分重要的应用价值,它是智能交通系统中基础和关键。国内外很多的专家和学者都对车牌的识别展开了深入的研究,并涌现了很多具有突出贡献的理论和算法。车牌识别结合了图像处理和模式识别等多项技术,能够被广泛的应用在停车场管理、高速收费管理中,节省了大量的人力和物力资源。图像信息是事物属性的再现,信息不是事物本身,而是由事物发出的信息,指令,数据等所包含的内容。在信息的海洋中选取符合重要事务的信息的过程,称为检索。广义的信息检索又称为信息存储与检索。通过课题车牌识别分析、检索工具的选择、检索词、检索过程及结果、文献阐述、参考文献等方面阐述信息文献检索技术的应用。

近几年城市智能交通系统发展的很快,车牌识别作为城市智能交通中信息采集的一种手段,也得到了很快的发展。在研究了国内外的各种有代表性的车牌识别的基础上,结合中国车牌的特点研发了一种适合中国车牌的识别系统。
车牌识别系统无论采用何种方案,都需要解决两个问题:第一、在全天后的情况下,如何获取车辆号牌的信息图像,即无论是白天还是黑夜,强逆光还是强顺光,刮风还是下雨,都希望将车辆和车辆的号牌拍清楚;第二、在图像中如何正确的识别出车牌,即识别算法如何在一个尽量大的范围内适应各种天气情况下的图片。
一般来讲车牌识别软件包括以下三部分,它们是车牌定位、车牌切分和字符识别,车牌定位的任务是给出图像中车牌的位置,或者给出几个可能的车牌位置;从车牌切分的主要任务是将定位后的车牌区域中的字符一一切出来,它包括判定车牌的格式,进行倾斜矫正等工作;字符识别是车牌识别软件的最后一个部分,他的任务是将切分出的字符识别出来。
