1.How to enable sudo account?
The sudo account of Ubuntu is disabled by default.
type sudo passwd to enable it.
yin@yin-Ubuntu10:~/Desktop/vmware$ sudo passwd
[sudo] password for yin:
Enter new UNIX password: //Enter your pwd here
Retype new UNIX password:
passwd: password updated successfully
2.If Ubuntu is intalled in Vmware.How to install vmare-tools?
Click VM-->Install Vmwaretools,extract VMwareTools-6.0.4-93057.tar.gz.
run
root@yin-Ubuntu10:/home/yin/Desktop/vmware# ./vmware-install.pl
in sudo mode.
3. Change software source.Goto http://wiki.ubuntu.org.cn/index.php?title=Qref/Source&variant=zh-cn and find appropriate sources.Do as it says.
4. install apache and PHP,mysql
yin@yin-Ubuntu10:~$ sudo apt-get install apache2
yin@yin-Ubuntu10:~$ sudo apt-get install php5
yin@yin-Ubuntu10:~$ sudo apt-get install mysql-server
sudo apt-get install libapache2-mod-auth-mysql
sudo apt-get install php5-mysql
sudo apt-get install php5-gd
sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 restart
5.install phpmyadmin
sudo apt-get install phpmyadmin
and add a link to the root directory of apache:
sudo ln -s /usr/share/phpmyadmin
Then you can test in your browser:http://localhost/phpmyadmin
input the root user and password of mysql and you can log in.
6.install Sun Java
1. sudo add-apt-repository "deb http://archive.canonical.com/ lucid partner"
2. sudo aptitude update
3. sudo aptitude install sun-java6-jdk
7.install languages
