HP Integrity BL860c i2, BL870c i2 and BL890c i2 blade server may report a SYSVARS_MISMATCHED event after exchanging the SBL (Scalable Blade Link) or a blade module (system board) of the server.
Example:
143 ILO 7 *3 6080253560E100B3 0000000000000000 SYSVARS_MISMATCHED

Solution
Every HP Integrity BL860c i2, BL870c i2 and BL890c i2 server blade has a set of information called the System Information Parameters which helps to identify the server blade and is used for certain applications and for the server blade warranty. This information includes:
-
Product name
-
Product number
-
Serial number
-
UUID
The System Information Parameters can be viewed from the iLO MP interface Command Menu prompt by entering sysset.
There are two sets of parameters shown:
-
Primary values are stored on the SBL.
-
Secondary values are those stored on the server blades.
The server UUID, serial number and product number are printed on the label carrier card behind the SBL trapdoor.
The event SYSVARS_MISMATCHED is reported because the two locations of the System Information Parameters do not match.
Run the sysset command on the iLO/MP to bring the System Information Parameters into alignment.
If single parameters have to be changed, or the sysset command does not allow to copy the System Information Parameters in the correct way without a password, contact HP Support for help.
Example:
CM:hpiLO-> sysset
SYSSET
Current System Information Parameters:

iLO MP needs to be reset in order for these changes to take effect
CM:hpiLO-> xd
