other,others,another,the other的区别

1、other其它的，另外的，别的，做形容词，后面可以跟复数名词(泛指人和物，没有一个特定的范围)。

I don't care about other things。别的事我不在乎。

Other students are against this plan.其他的同学反对这个计划

2、the other,另一个，另一些，(特定范围里的另一些人或者物，特别是两个中的另一个)，后面可以跟单数亦可跟复数。

He has one shoulder a little higher than the other .他一个肩膀比另一个肩膀略高。(代词)
He has two daughters, one is a doctor,the other is a teacher他有两个女儿,一个是医生,一个是老师。(代词)

He mixes well with the other students他和其他同学都相处的很好。(用作形容词)
3、others=other +复数名词，(泛指其它的，另外的)这里做代词，可以做主语，宾语。

Don't force your opinion on others(other people).不要把你的观念强加于别人。

He is always at cross-purposes with others(other ones).他总是跟大家拧着干。

We should learn lessons by the mistakes of others.我们应当从别人的错误中吸取经验教训。

4、the others=the other +复数名词，其余的，(表示在一个特定范围里的其它全部)。代词

  5、another,又一个,另一个，和the other 不同，the other指两个中的另一个，another指不定数目中的另一个(三个以上)，可以做形容词，代词

There is another job to do.还有另一项工作要做。(很多工作中的一个),做形容词。

This glass is broken ,give me another.这个杯子破了,给我另外一个。(很多杯子中的其中一个)，做代词。
